Hello,
Your website "http://cskmk.tripod.com" was noted to our attention. Did you
know that the name "Kottonmouth Kings" is copywrited and the krown logo that
you use is trademarked? The Name and logo are only for use by Suburban
Noize Records, and whomever Suburban Noize Records gives permission to use
it. If you are using the name or logo in any other manner, please cease to
do so within 30 days or legal action may fall upon you as required by law.
All requests to use the name and/or logo must be requested and approved in
writing.

Due to the fact that the clan was founded 3 (!) years ago and all of
the members are big fans of the band "KottonMouth Kings" we did not
think we were violating any copyright, since we never stated that we
came up with the name and logo ourselves. We were just a bunch of guys,
that liked the music of the KottonMouthKings and loved the most famous
multiplayer game ever, CounterStrike. We wanted the name of the KmK
spread within the CS community and to leave an impression by our skill
and thus paying tribute to the band.
Now, 3 years after foundation, some people think they need to destroy
this community and to split the members of this clan up,because they
do not know what this clan is about. But, since we founded the clan
and built the site because of the band and the music, and mostly
of all, because of fun, we do not want any problems with the law. When
reading this all content has been removed from the site but this index
site.
Well
I can tell you from the bottom of my heart, that this has given
my fandom a great blow.So just to make it perfectly clear:

Krown Logo = Trademark ™ Suburban Noize
We never wanted anyone to believe anything else. But we do not want
any legal action taken against us and we fully respect the Copyright
Law, which is why all content has been removed from the site. Also we
do not blame the webmaster of the official KottonMouth Kings site or
the KottonMouth Kings for the shutting down of this clan. We respect the law and will
oblige to any further requests concerning our site. We also do not blame the
people that mailed the official KottonMouth Kings site webmaster and told him about our site, for I am sure that they
did this believing in doing the right thing and not intending to destroy a community.

this index site up under the domain "http://cskmk.tripod.com" to let
the members know what happened, or if we are violating laws by using
the "kmk" in "cskmk". If so mail me and the site will vanish completely
